I am a slacker. In my own defense, I never claimed not to be.
Wow, two months since I've updated. It isn't that there hasn't been anything going on. Quite the opposite, actually. There's been a lot going on.
The school year ended and both girls did really well. DH had basketball camp. B had a two week summer enhancement program for gifted students -- one of her classes was all about chocolate and she loved it. We enjoyed sampling her class projects! My sister Andrea and her family came to visit and we all had fun with them. A had her wisdom teeth pulled and she definitely didn't enjoy that. Then A got an infection...she definitely didn't enjoy that, either. Then A went to EFY and she totally loved it and wanted to stay for another week. Now A is at girls' camp and she told us before she left on Tuesday that she definitely wouldn't love it. We'll see how it turns out!
Next week we'll be going on vacation to Disney World and we're all looking forward to that. Mom and Dad are going with us for the first couple of days and it will be fun to spend that time with them. I'm in full obsessive planning mode and am hoping everything goes well and that everyone has a good time.
School starts for us in just a few weeks...it's hard to believe that, for us, summer vacation is almost over. :-(
